Sample Chatter Excerpts
An interesting topic in American History to write a 15 page thesis paper on?
How about America's dealings with the Barbary Pirates from 1783-1815? It's a pretty interesting topic and not much touched upon.

What can you do with an American History degree?
Nothing, and you cannot even teach without a certificate, which requires an education degree or certification program generally consisting of 60 credits. A history degree simply focuses you into what you are going to do in your graduate study, it lays the groundwork for further research. But, especially in this job market, it is useless on it's own. When going into History we do so with the knowledge that we are in it for the long run. If you are really interested in archival work you can get a one year online Masters in archival methods and work there, but many archives still want you to have a History masters.

Was President Clinton ever impeached?
Yes, Isn't it funny how Liberals think it is ok to lie under oath. If he was a conservative libs would want him burned at the cross.

Have you ever seen these movies?
I thought American History X was a very thought provoking film. Not one I would watch again as its not the happiest of stories but it does show you how prejudice can be passed on to children through their parents.
