Throughout both of their careers both have been facing many problems. Gilbert Arenas is injury prone and Allen Inverson just cant seem to get back to his old style of play. Although if I you were to compare both players in their prime, I would say Iverson would win the battle. Iverson is a hall of famer and will go down in history, dont get me wrong Gilbert Arenas is an amazing player, who if gets on a roll is nearly impossible to stop him. If we were to compare both players in the present, Arenas would be the greater player. source

I'm a Piston fan and always liked AI until last year. He is a tough player, but the team has to be about him. I'm really curious about where he is going to play next year, but if I'm BC, I wouldn't touch him. source

Sometimes players have too much heart and not enough brains. AI couldnt come to grips with the fact that he wasnt an efficient enough scorer to command so many shots, its why players and teams have thrived in his absence. So he did what anyone could do, build a rep off the court, become so popular that you could command the respect on it. If AI had been a jew, I dont think teams let him play this way. source

I just read there is talk going on between Iverson's agent and 76er's management. Former coach Larry Brown says Iverson could give that team a lift since one player is injured. source
