But, the only thing you miss out on is convenience .
Silly.
This is because many cable boxes do not have HDCP repeaters implemented .

I am hearing impaired and I would like to have headphones to be able to hear better. Some DVDs do not have closed captioning or subtitles, and are hard to understand because of the use of foreign accents. I know of headphones that are designed for listening...
