Hi all,
Just installed xubuntu 11.04, downloaded the gstreamer plugins for the multimedia codecs but for some reason parole will not play avi (divx/xvid) video-it only plays the sound?
I can play an avi file no problem using ffplay (ffmpeg)- I am a bit...

Do you have libavcodec52 installed?
I always install xubuntu-restricted-extras during setup and that allows me to view any type of media file .

Is there a procedure who works with nabilosat image ? It didn't worked for me , it is ssaying the vlc is not connected doesnt work for me either. .
This procedure works only with gemini image.

I have a concert I recorded and I would like to extract the audio from either the MPEG-2 file or the DIVX file. Is there any program that will extract either the AC3 or MP3 audio? If it is the AC3, what else do I need to use to convert it to MP3 or AAC...

Beste Mensen,
kan iemand mij vertellen hoe ik AVI, DIVX OF MKV kan afspelen op mijn 800hd se?
als ik ze op de HDD zet van het apparaat kan hij ze niet vinden met PVR en ook niet met dvd speler
moet ik hier een apparte plugin voor downloaden??

TV: LX5090 KURO PIONEER....
MKV word ook zichbaar onder de PVR/video knop.
DVD-Player is ideaal voor .ts bestanden en iso's daarvan.
MKV overigens niet altijd.
Die pakt dat soort formaten wel.
Daar kan je beter de Media-player op de DreamBox voor gebruiken .

scaricati da YouTube in AVI DiVX da poter guardare in un lettore DVD.
