Been using win avi to convert avi/divx files to dvd but sometimes the
sound is out of sync.Is there a better converter out there?

1. I'm going to convert a DVD 9 disc (7.5gb file size), do I need an equal blank DVD 9 disc for the final conversion or a DVD 5 will be suffice?

What program can convert avi/divx to dvd fast & free. DVD flick is to slow, takes approx 1-2 hours per avi/divx movies. I do enjoy the simplicity of the program, but I have around 50 movies to convert and the process is just too long.
