Your ethernet address, most commonly known as MAC address is nothing that needs to be hidden

The router, and thus maybe the wired part got hit by lightning and the wireless didn't? Can ethernet cables...

The Buffalo AP's can be had for under $100.The Proxim and Cisco hardware also does
this, but it costs about 4 times as much. If you can afford it then get the Proxim. If you're on the budget
