The 6th house is not career or the person's job. I see this a lot. People look to the 6th house ruler to determine what people should 'work' in...yes, the 6th does deal with work technically. But not in a job sense. More in a routine sense and every day...

Everyone is different when it comes to career/jobs and happiness. I have a friend that has her Masters, is well educated and has a career, but hates her job. She sticks with it because what brings her happiness is that check she receives every two weeks...
