In to the spliter then back out to the other tv in the other room.From the spliter it goes to the box on the other tv and left .I asked about if the box could have a fault and he said doubtfull Fidelity 26 i think is poor as my 91 y old....

When the "change over" happens in 2013 does this just mean that analogue of extra channels into Regional areas.

In Ireland you get RTE 1 + 2, TV 3, RTE.
Hi Sounds a little like sky tv in England and you dont get that for free , In England you get BBC, UTV, Channel 4 + 5, BBC News, Sky News, E4 etc free to air.

Why not try plugging the lead into the virgin box and then into your VCR directly and missing out ... .
If youre recording from your TV as a pose to you Virgin box you may have the volumes turn down on the TV...
