Does checking your Credit Score hurt my Credit score? I was online looking for houses, One site it gives you the option to check your credit score and check to see like what it would be for you to get a mortgage.
If I check these will it hurt my score...

If you are checking your own score, or credit report, it does not hurt your score .
Only if that site is actually having you apply for a loan .

I am not a Ramsey follower, but sometimes listen to his radio show.
He has quite a large following and I admit I am curious why.
I think I heard him say yesterday that he sent for his credit score and it was zero. He wasn't concerned about that at all...

The same goes credit score....
With the bank, and they're going to completely reverse the credit score impact of a missed payment you're purchasing is their version of your credit score, not your actual Fico score.

One thing you might want to try is to look for any errors on your credit report. A large percentage have bad data that might negatively affect your score. I've heard up to 30%.

Find out your credit score for free. Takes about a minute or two. If you already know your score and are willing to share it go ahead as well.
The range of score is 300 - 850. Over 700 is considered a good score.
