Replaced both knock sensors, replaced KS connectors, ohmed out wiring, no problem found... .
I have a 92 SC400.Can't get rid of check engine light.(code 52,#1 knock sensor) .

P2172 says ECM-990F Torque monitoring faulty signal....
Please dont kill the messenger if this is wrong as new to vida.. .
The codes are all the same for any manufacturer.
If you google obd code, for example obd code P2279 , it should tell you what they are .

It says, " no change in MAP from START to RUN" .

P1297 - The MAP sensor doesn't change its reading when the engine is running!
