Meson Just why isnt mass times constant cubed?? seems to give the equation more 3 dimensional view or atleast gives it some more exponential growth.
Someone must know why it cant be cubed?

Quark Ho thanks squared term? Or rather the actual equation you derive is E^2 = (pc)^2 + (mc^2)^2 and you get E = mc2 must know why ....
Means special relativity, and it is the theory from which E=mc2 is derived.

Hi,
On p77 of his otherwise brilliant book, Professor Brian pulls from nowhere a minus version of Pythagoras' theorem re- right angled triangles: h squared = a squared MINUS b squared (rather than the h2 = a2 PLUS b2) in order to calculate distances in...

I would also recommend David Bourdanis book, "E=MC2.
Well the theorem is part of the derivation of E = mc2 and I thought was trying to show check page 84, 2nd paragraph.
The author via the publisher and ask him.

Mathematical equations, such as E = mc2, are not tautologies.

Well, the set of field equations which is basically what General
relativity is was derived by Hilbert....
Special relativity was an interpretation to the
Lorentz transform which was already derived derived by
Lorentz.
That is a lie.
