Scala runs on the JVM , so concurrency....
I disagree with a few assumptions of the question.
The ability of the compiler to intelligently infer type is also nice .
I like the fact that functions are now Objects, and that primitives are wrapped by default .

Maybe I will just change my name to something silly, and then no one other than the friends I already have will know who I am .

Well after having my jeep for 6 years its time to move on. I traded it for a new F150 four door. I need a truck now that I have my own house. Just like to say good bye and thank you to anyone that has helped me in the past with any problem that came up...
