A grilling newbie, and I purchased Steven Raichlen's
"How to Grill" book because it was my impression...
these problems myself, or are
Raichlen's recipes too zesty for even a zest-lover like myself?

I smoked 4 pork shoulders, one i followed Steven Raichlen's recipe exactly from HOW TO GRILL...
. I used his rub, his mop recipe and it came out great.
I also added coffee to the rub for two
you use, MYOTG? I have been using Chris Lilly's injection recipe for the past few years now.
