Its not redundancy.
This leads me to believe that its not redundancy and they have just given her a taxable amount through payroll .
I may be wrong and please anybody correct me, redundancy under 30k is not taxable .

I live in California.
I was on lightest work load and sill couldn't handle it .
But I didn't have a choice.
I did not want to.
Which forced me to retire at 55yrs old.

Unfortunately I am in the process of applying for ill health retirement (Tier 1) at the age of 58. It will mean I am paid my LGPS pension as if I had worked until 65 but it won't amount to much as I have not been in employment for many years.
