When I've had surgery and even small proceedures before they've made me remove my lenses. I wear the day and night monthlies so I don't know why when I sleep in them for a month.
However, I'm worried about being told to take them out during birth, especially...

Not sure about a c-section tho xx I think they only make you take them out if you're having a general.... .
I wear hard lenses and didn't have a problem with them during labour...my eyes were a little itchy as id had them in so long but took drops with me .

I was the same had a tough delivery on ds and got them to ease my mind and help me get over the birth .
Different hospital but hopefully you'll get them quickly.
I requested mine last yr from HS and had them within 2 wks .
