You see some ammo with a lable that saws Law Enforcement on it. What is the difference in it and regular ammo. Does it have to meet a higher standard tham regular ammo?

Most Common US law enforcement gun? What is the most common gun used by US law enforcement agencies? All agencies in my area use the Glock (except possibly the NY State Police, rarely see them in urban areas, even on the state parkways).

I believe most states require law enforcement officers to be certified as such by the state, but from what I understand it is to keep well within the required "official use" that law enforcement.
