This will give you an insight on how OpenID is perceived by non-techies .

So my laptop is a few years old now and SSSLLLLOOOO .... I was going to take it in and have it cleaned up, whatever, to get some speed back. I run Norton on it and they have PC Tuneup which says I'm legit, no viruses, etc...
Do any of those scan it, run...

Is it frowned upon to release your software with a version number high than 1?
For example, some non tech-savy people might see a competitor's product with a higher version number as meaning my software is not as good.
