Does anyone know where I would find the stats on how many pre-meds there are in the country, at each school, etc?? Or how many people start out at "pre-med" vs. how many actually end up applying to med school??

Does anyone know that there's a Universal National Service Act of 2003 pending in Congress and the Senate? What do you guys think this would mean for pre-med students? Would we have to interrupt our education or do service when we finish?
