I would strongly recommend the pre-paid option....
Verizon pre-paid and the phone is plugged into the local network of the country.
The $1 a day is only when the phone is used.
Carefully on all these prepaid plans.

Buy the pre-paid cards from just about anywhere, it just depends on what your needs are going no contract, you can cel whenever you want, and vs.
