I'm looking for some films that have a pre-teen protagonist, around 12/13 years old. It's an age I've rarely seen portrayed on screen, as watching 'Super 8' made me realise.

My 12 yr old ds is 5'6" and 80-85 pounds at the most. The size 16's are starting to get too short in length.
Do they make pants with elastic waist past the boys' sizes? What about skinny jeans...
