And convert it into a hierarchy of lists, so that if I execute code such as the following:

So this is pretty simple: I recognize why items bought in the store need to be bound, but I'd like them to be bound to your account not your character. I was considering bags specifically, but I can't think of any item for which this shouldn't apply.

Separate from the actual item it alters, so its not only re-usable, but the actual armor can.

That might be fine for a single order one time, but if you're looping through lots of orders, it might be more efficient to load all of the items for all i;
It's a bit backwards at first glance....
