I have been on the Newcastle Diet since Monday this week but using Slimfast. So far weight loss is 6lbs and my pre and post dinner BG levels are generally 5-5.5, however my fasting levels are still in the 10's and I'm seriously starving hungry...

There's two or three threads on forum covering the NC diet, use the search facility at the top on a ordinary diet, once the body runs out of fuel from ingested food, it will stall.

The slim fast diet a few years ago and lost nothing after taking it for 4 weeks, on the standard milk diet before my surgery I lost 6.5kg in a week.

Slimfast? 've been hearing a lot more about Slimfast "re-inventing" itself. My grandmother used to drink the shakes and when I used to stay with her, I'd have one for breakfast. But I haven't had one in...at least a couple years.
