So my truck has always ran really cool and wouldnt heat up since I fried the t-stats, so I finally put new 180* stats in from auto zone, now it sits at 190-200 deg. all the time in 50* weather, is that too hot or am I just used to it running so cool? ...

I'm just worried about my heads again with the old t-stats.
That went around holes on the t stat for the heads was gone.

Are you heating the racks with? I would use 2 t stats 4 per t stat you could run all 8 off of 1 t stat.

If you go with a 180 degree t-stat, do you really gain much performance? It's always good to keep the engine cool, but are you messing with the algorithms the engineers designed for proper warmup and running temp for fuel injection, etc.? I'm overhauling...

Well I sold the Pelpro and Purchased a Quadrafire CB1200 so the Lux DMH110 for 24v or millivolt systems that I got for the Pelpro does not look like it will work for the Quad. Instructions say 12v AC ??

I was going to fit a genuine replacement but after finding out that they cost £52 (inc vat) compared to £8 from the local motor factor it's a no brainer.
But I would like to think the genuine one is alot better quality and will last alot longer would ...

Look close on the side of the frame of the t-stat to see MotoRad stamped in the side.
But the brand was different when I called Auto zone .
The various t stats available for the srt8's.
