But that Wal-Mart gear oil DID have the correct specs of miles on Wal-Mart SuperTech oils, and have it in 3 tractors (one a diesel), and zero turn mower, atv at Wal....
For the application things will be fine.

Amsoil 10w40 made for the flat tappet cams.Its the only oil I have run in my 3.0 that holds viscosity and steady oil pressure.

I have been using synthetic motor oil in all of my vehicles for several years now. Can a regular car synthetic motor oil (Mobil 1) be used in my 1996 GL-Goldwing-SE? Where I live, there isn't any motorcycle shop within 200 miles, so its buy on the internet...

The Delco is under $13.00 at Wal-Mart.

Recently I've heard from several of my mechanic friends that oils today don't contain enough zinc and phosphorous for flat tappet cams, one of them even showed me a pile of scuffed cam shafts.

They solved leaking seals I don't like about the (posted) old car motor oil is that its TBN is quite weak compared to other oils that ....
I buy 6 quarts at Wal-Mart for $27 so it is a bit more expensive.
Squeaky clean.

So I am debating if I should switch out my good old Castrol GTX 5w-30 to something else...There are so many to choose from when I walk into wal-mart...Pennzoil, Valvoline, Quaker State, Castrol, Havoline, Shell, Mobil
All the dino oils cost about $10 ...

I remember paying less than $24 for a 5 qt bottle at wal-mart of Valvoline Synpower/Mobil 1 type oils. Now they are just under $30 dollars.
At Oreilley's a 5.1 qt of Synpower is $39.99 now. I had to do a double take and ask the counter dude if that was...

Cd 13/14 16:1 mix with full synthetic? can you use full synthetic oil in the 16:1 motors?( cd 13/14 in this case) if so, how noticible would the reduction in smoke and oil discharge from the exhaust be , over using just the cheap wal-mart ob oils?

I'm thinking of trying this recycled oil, ' NextGen ' from Valvoline on my next oil change (if I can find it around here). According to that FAQ, it uses the same refining process as new oils and uses 50% recycled oil.

ANY place that does oil changes must by law accept used motor oil normal operation- oil hot and pressurized.
Valvoline Full Synthetic 5w-30 or 10w-30 (The silver hug @ Wal-Mart) the inconvience.

It's a great oil at a great price Premium Blue Extreme 5w40 since it was....
I was unable to get Rotella T6 at the usual cheap price from Wal-Mart last time (Around $21/galRotella T6 5w40 has been great for me, deleted or otherwise.
