If I've purchased one license for Windows XP, is it legal to run a second copy on the same machine (in a second partition, under Linux) with vmware?

As I understand it, it kind of depends on which version of XP you have, s the license sets different terms for each of the different versions .
Well, it's unlikely anyone is going to complain about it .

As Windows XP is the simplest Windows OS ever made but the most complex at the same time, what are your thoughts on Windows XP?

A lot of business' use Windows XP still..
Except occasional crashes, a virus attack it; Windows 7 works fine .
We both had a very pleasant relationship.
