I´m receiving a very strange error with NHibernate 2.1.2.4000 GA and latest version of FluentNHibernate. I can save an entity but can´t load it back after a call to Flush() and Clear().

Instead of creating a new session use the same one, and retrieve using Get instead of Load .
You should not set it, SQL does that for you .
You are setting the id but it's an Identity.

You might be able to move the instance to another location and complete the installation .
This seems to be an issue when you have installed a named instance in a location other than the default - possibly in a folder named "MSSQLServer" .

To fix the issue:

The installer and program assume it's located on the C:\ drive and attempt to create or open the workspace there .
It's caused by having your "My Documents" folder mapped to a different drive .
I just ran into this same issue.
