I prefer the VH4 specially for the clean and dirty bluesier tones. The heavy stuff is a match between the VH4 and the Hagen (the hagen sounds REALLY REALLY good, I can tell the VH4-like qualities with a bit more saturation in there) But IMO this VH4 demo...

You just have to dial it in right.

If you are really favourite Herbert book after Dune.....
Hi Spade, I think I enjoyed all of the Frank Herbert books, except The Dosadi Experiment (I believe enjoyed them, probably some of my favourite Herbert material outside of Dune.
