For the most part, the C code will probably compile directly by the C++ compiler with a few minor touchups, Thank you for the reply.
Porting from C to C++ is not daunting.
I would move the legacy code into a C++ DLL .

In fact, to a degree is can already be done courtesy of Mono.... .
However, as to porting to .NET to Irix, sure, it's possible.
They might use it for UI to do things.
AFAIK VS is not written entirely in .NET.
Code, which makes it a hard job.
I was just thinking this last night... Why do people write websites using .NET? It costs money, the coding is more complicated if you're not using MS's IDE (than PHP/HTML)... You can only have one form per page... Yet it seems to be more popular... ??...
