Why does /cdrom has the same inode -number than /sys/devices/platform/power in Ubuntu?
The following have the same inode number in my Ubuntu
./media/BACKUP_1/MISC ./cdrom ./sys/devices/platform/power
I get them by running the following at root

I know there are a few Linux users on here, and some that use Ubuntu. I just installed Ubuntu 11.10 on one of the machines here and I am very disappointed. With or without running Unity, the performance is doggie-doo slow. Granted the box is no barn-burner...

I should have perhaps mentioned previously that this instance of Ubuntu is a VirtualBox VM/product/11.2.0/xe/bin/oracle_env.sh....
Putting it into .profile will allow you to run it at every login Dude.

I have experienced that running Alfresco 3.4d from the install binaries on a system running other services and servers is most unreliable and buggy. (Not to mention that the whole install runs as root!)

The admin Ubuntu 10.04 server installation doesn't support ppa out of the box - you have to add some code/ preference.

Libmt32emu is version 0.1.3
mt32emu-alsadrv is CVS from 3/25/2010
You'll still need to backup your MT-32 ROM to disk to use with the emulator.
Board wouldn't let me attach DEB files, so I tar/gzip'd them.
