Do you really mean AIX 1.3?
If you meant 4.3, you could get it starting from "smitty mount",
filling in the forms at the appropriate time and pressing F6.

ROM...
mount /dev/cdrom ? (or whatever name you gave to the CD-ROM when you
set it up...
