Generally speaking, which would give the best performance on equal sizes? This is in reference to a host node for virtualized servers (2 x E5620 processors, 32 or 48 GB RAM, currently with Adaptec 5405)

Probably the best thing to do is use below 7200 for nighttime use, and the 7280-7300 area for daytime below 7200 remains the same as when folks moved below 3800: a lot of followers, few leaders.
