Can anyone give me a general answer, what's the difference between height:100% and min-height:100% ?

Min-height will put the element to min 100% of the container size
but why would you want to do that anyway? if min-height is 100% it will not have ....
Height will put your element to a size of 100% of it's container.

Is it possible to make the child elements of a vbox to occupy 100% of the width without indicating width=100% for each element ?

If you want....
So you need to tell the button to try and take 100% of the width to decide how to lay them out.
Otherwise much space it wants to take up.
You could make the elements a custom component and specify width="100%" in the component.

Just guessing (I don't know actionscript) but I would have thought that
a.x = 100; a.y = 100;
would set a to be (100, 100), while
a.move(100,100);
would add (100,100) to the current value holds:

Hi.
I have a table with a height of 100% and a fixed position. Within it I want to have a div with height of 100% that gives scrolling on overflow.
The trouble is the table starts behaving strangely if I put more content in the div than its height can...

In general I recommend to avoid using 100% height div's.
When is the content too much for something with height of 100%?
You may try 'min-height', but this does not work on IE.
A height value set other than in %.

Apprently there is a group of Masters Swimmers in NY. They do a
100 Yard X 100 times swim. I take it that this is 100 repeats of
100 yards. What is the repeat time? Every 2 min. 3 min? Think
this workout is super for long distance training.
