...and I had to validate with Microsoft to ensure I was using a licensed copy of XP? When did they start that shit, and why? It's just WMP, been around for years, and now you have to validate to get it? WTF?

First I switched to Classic Media Player, most of the same functionality but not a hogI updated my IE to the newest version....
Here is Micro-ripoff site WMP.
Then the first week the Media Player crashed.
