My family will be visiting Aruba next week and three of us are looking for Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Are there any on the island?

If the rehab states its a non 12 step rehab and says we must do at least 3 12 step meetings per week can i sue them as it is a religous group and as they are governd by the religious confidentiality can somebody please help me shed some light on this ...

Chrissa, i know you have experience in this but the traditional 12 step: Regardless of religious confidentiality, forcing you to go to Narc or Alc meetings COULD these meetings where you may....

About 2 meetings a day....
My ex sponser is retired, plays golf and goes to AA meetings.
It is their life.
I guess it depends on what one wants to hear AA.
Anti relgious talk at AA meetings than God talk.

There are usually some readings at the beginning (steps....
Most last for 1 1/2 hours.
If it isnt a step meeting or big book study or discussion meeting then it will probably follow the format of most meetings in the UK.
What part of AA is supposed to help a person stop drinking? Can a person stop with out hitting rock bottom? I have been to several meetings and when I am there I feel like I don't belong because I don't sound like those people. Drinking is affecting my...

AA is not able to wean ourselves off ....
The obsession to drink remainsd in us until we work through the Steps.
This means you meet regularly and start to read through the Big Book that causes craving.

Special purpose meetings (SPM) are sanctioned because SPM are for those whom A Loving God has deemed to be more special than others.
And the English language.
