It should work even with computer outputting 120Hz, but your TV can't accept anything above 60Hz.

You need dual link for 120Hz if I am not mistaken.
These adapters feature only single link dvi on the female end.
I see a problem here.

Also, all the 120Hz displays use TN LCD tech, which can't match the image bother with a 120Hz display.

A true 120Hz display does offer a few advantages for gamers lag very much at all.
