Trying to help a guy thats converting from an Electromotive ECU to MS2. The wheel is a 60-2, but it's really small (maybe 5"?), the teeth and gaps are really small and when cranking I only measure ~.5volts from the sensor. I verified the MS2 is working...

I am running a 36-1 VR sensor from a volvo that sensed from the OD of a big flywheel hand I would said the gap on the missing tooth is not deep enought for the VR sensor to pick up said it was VR.
Be required.

Kinda off topic for the N board.. but this farmall H I have has been converted to 12v via an genny rebuild. has a cheap chinese 12c vreg on it that you have to rap with a screwdriver to make it charge. I opened it up and it is amazingly cheap.. flaky ...

On the image below I have a question about the terminal labeled 61 on the voltage regulator. I am not using an idiot light. Should that terminal labeled 61 have 12v positive applied when the ignition is turned on??

You do not have to....
You do not have to supply 12v to it if you eliminate the idiot light.
Then it will have 12v.

Fairly simple conversion for a VN S2 or VP.
To do this in a VN S1 you will need to change the plugs as they are not compatible and won't plug into each other.
You'll need the vr ev6 engine or vn/vp 3.8(with cam position sensor), 4l60e trans, wiring loom...

The VR motor has one connection on the front....
I have fitted a VR motor into my VP but stuck with a VP auto VP wiring loom and ECU in place although I did score the ECU and wiring loom with the VR motor.

i was looking at these SMD 5 way leds,
Apparently the chip inbuilt in them sensors the polarity... .
I have the same issue i have the same issue aswell they're the last piece to my led conversion i done .
I too am keen for an answer.

Recently i purchased an indexing head for a mill. it has a detent every 15* so it would nicely make a 24 tooth wheel.
my question is, is there an advantage to having a 36 tooth wheel over a 24 on a v8, ms3 with sequential?
