I was curious to do some RAID 0 Raptor testing versus a single Raptor. I've been intending on reformatting, so I figured I'd waste the past 7 hours playing around with this.
Used an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum.
Using NVRAID, a single Raptor did about 80MB read...

I have 4 of the 150GB Raptor X ones in R5 array.
£50 for 150GB Raptor just does not seem worth it to me especially when I presume that is warranty them.

The raptor hard drives are 10,000 rpm very reliable and fast hard drives.

Was bored so I ran the WIndows 7 performance test and everything scored 6.9 or higher except my WD 150GB VelociRaptor HDD. This is a very fast drive so why would it score so low?

Drives than that WD Raptor (depending on which one, but I assume its one of the older ones) in fact.
