As has been the case over the past several years - it's been a while
since I've been here. Life seems to keep interrupting my plans to get
back into some flight simming. Still not quite back yet, but I'm
almost ready to consider thinking about possibly...

I also remember fondly Scout, FS260, and Spitfire....
I'd try the basic (RealAir's Scout, FS260, and Spitfire, and perhaps Flight1's
Cessna 152).
You could run FSX on that system but how well would depend a lot on add ons,
etc.

I believe there are add on Cessna 182's.
Better than FSX, but
either way, the Microsoft product is out there to use and very much
available a look at this Sabre if you like.
