Nhibernate seems to have a problem with varbinary(16) when tring to represent Guids. I would have thought that varbinary(16) and binary(16) equate to the same thing.

Realistically, there probably isn't a difference anyway.
It always uses 16 bytes of storage for each row, padding any extra are always exactly 16 bytes, there is no difference.
Binary(16) is fixed length.

UInt16 x = 65535; var y = (Int16)x; // y = -1
how about if it's not zero, negate it and add 65534
ie
0 -> 0 65535 -> -65535 + 65534 = -1 .

TVs are good for 16:9 but movie/tv proportionality similar is a key....
16:10 is closer to 4:3 which is where the industry should have stayed.
They are just realizing it was a mistake to go to 16:9 in the first place.
