Is it worth it to spend a little extra on a 1gb card with the same exact specs as a card with 512mb memory for a monitor of resolution 1920x1080?

For some reason, whenever I use a monitor in 1920x1080, it will never go full screen. it always has black bars about an inch wide all around the screen. does anyone else get this, or could anyone give me any advice?

Also take a look at the windows settings in your desktop properties .
Update your monitor drivers and graphics driver.
With benq monitors there is an auto adjust button as well as manual adjustment buttons that can be used to adjust the screen .
