I picked up this 1943 Lincoln cent this past week
I am curious what others think about this coins
grade?

The tie if well defined....
The lapels, though not crisp, still there.
The ear is clearly defined.
The reasons: 1.
I find it very difficult to grade 'Steel' cents, but, I will say MS-63 I was grading it a it a MS 66 or 67 .
I am no pro but will say MS62.

I believe there are a few members here that own one of the Tula hex rifles that were mfg in 1943.

Here's mine courtesy of another board cartouche with 1943 below it on the....
No pics to post.
Also note the shape of the tang - it wasn't a 1943 Tula made with a 1924 Tula receiver.

I am offering up two scopes which have been in my collection for a while, and which I have now decided to move on.
The first is an M38 no 7 (1943)
The lens is clear but flawed (see below). The numbers and range finder are visible...

I bought this 1943 Ithaca 1911 off of Gunbroker. I believe it to be all original down to the 1943 Boyt shoulder holster. The barrel is in great shape and has HS stamped near the lug.

It seems that Ithaca used the right side slide roll mark intermittently over a large range of pistols, so who knows... .
But if the serial number is 123****, I would wonder if the slide is original to that frame .
The serial number is a bit hard to make out .
