Tracy Yes Tracy I agree, you would to messages, but why is it 2 1/2d and not 3d postage due for letter rate.
Any other theories quite welcome.
To 1/2d as their equivalent.
Hi folks, Both these stamps have left me stumped. Does anyone have any thoughts of the "Official" overprint on the 2d and the postmark on the 4 1/2d. Thanks in anticipation for your help folks, Best wishes Mike

Don't know about the "official", but the FB postmark is "Foreign Branch" for mail handled in central London and sent overseas as opposed to "IS" for Inland Section Thanks Iggy, I learned something new today Kind regards Mike Agree with Iggy on the "FB... .
