5D II is long overdue for replacement.
Sony may have a FF on the market with greater resolution - but new APS-C sensors or better than Canon 5D MarkII.

That were introduced with it have migrated to the EOS 1D Miv and 1Dx, but the older 5D has yet to catch upThe 7D is a better specified camera than the 5D MkII in every regard other than resolution.
