Have you tried MBAM ?
http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ I suggest:
1.
Clean your temporary files.
Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on.
If avast does not detect it, you can try DrWeb CureIT....

Warcraft 2.exe
So I want to play my favorite game of all time, obviously. I downloaded and installed Wine from the Software Center with no problems, and even found a free download of the game itself on a blog after searching "free warcraft 2 download linux" in google...
Totally not a place to discuss piracy.
As mentioned, this is not the right forum for that kind of help..

The trojan downloader is likely to be what was responsible for the 1.exe, 2.exe files, etc 1.exe, so i click move to chest, than it finds 2.exe and so on.
It stops at 14.exe, then it doesnt.

AC2 Failed to launch
I bought Assassins Creed II yesterday (retail) , installed it normally and then I wanted to connect it with Steam via using Add Non-Steam Game function. But when I tried to launch the Assassins Creed 2.exe it says "Failed to launch Assassins Creed II"...
Assassin's Creed 2 is a Steam game.
There's a steam version and a retail version.
I may be wrong here (I don't have AC2) but you should probably link to the launcher, not the game executable.
There is a retail version..

Just get rid of mcafee and get avast free enjoy why are you downloading vlc off sourceforge anyway? you can download it directly from the site or choose a different mirror...

Running norton systemworks? Norton Ghost maybe? You don't happen to have Norton Ghost installed, do you? *blush* i guess that's it.
I was worried because it was in my system files, but i guess it's gotta be to do what it does, huh?
eek! *runs off ashamed....
