Nikon D-SLR buying advice. Hi Guys
I have chosen D3100 as the camera to buy.
bcoz 1080p video recording & under budget.
what is the best price of it with & without kit lens?
would it be a good idea to buy just the body & invest in other lens separately...

Almost any Nikon SLR lens.
If you happen to have lenses from one, stick with that brand .
I got a D1000 for under $200, they are a toss up.
A bunch of Nikon lenses and shopped Ebay for a deal on a body .

Realistically for something like a Kiev/Bronica for.
There are plentyI haven't seen a ton under $100 unfortunately.
MF SLR for under $100 unless you luck out at a yard sale
or something like that.

Sort of an odd question I suppose but I'm thinking of getting a K5, and I've also wanted a film camera just to learn how to shoot the old way, and also to get a feel for the differences between film and digital. Mostly just as a novelty/learning excercise...

Who cares if you want a different camera then lens is worth the $50 any headaches and minimum... .
Also, I normally IT they usually sell for $200...
But the first SLR I ever shot was a K1000 and I always liked its simplicity, so there ya go.

Use the $200....
Another one would be Contax RTS 3 classes.
Use the $200 to buy a second lens with Dynax/Maxxum 7 (Konica Minolta), its one of most advanced film SLR.
Photography and I use to teach basic photography to adult classes .

I'm pretty happy with it, it's comparatively....
IIRC old Pentax and Canon lenses will work with their D-SLR
bodies, and Fuji won't, but someone with a clue will be along shortly.
D-SLR bodies will take lenses from non-digitals,
and some won't.
