I checked the plugs and compression before buying it, compression tested good and the plugs were nice and tannish brown
I checked it over before riding it and...

Download the 2000 Service Manual it will help you a cylinder too with the looks of that piston.

For starters you need to release the torsion springs so the suspension can collapse so you don't fight the track tension...next if you don't have a rack, tip the sled on it's side and the skid will come out then the drive shaft will come out easily...... .

I have been asking around for over a year now for a good set up for my 2000 ZR 700i put secondary in middle hole and put a green and white on my 00 700 it came out nice and still ran up top great.
The stock set up.

Accepting offers for a non running 2000 formula z 700. Nice looking sled, needs an inner crank seal that i do not have the time to repair. I don't want to part this sled out. Never been rolled, track is good. 6500 miles...

for the oil cable there are two lines on the oil pump lever and one on the round piece on the oil pump housing they will be right next to each other and the mark on the housing has to be between the two marks on the arm... .

I've moved up to a rev and it's time for the MXZ to go. Currently has 42XX miles on it bought it 2 seasons ago and have put about 1000 miles on it. Bought sled from northern WI saw most of it's use up there and UP trail...
