It is a very high quality filter....
I would not change your oil at 3.7K miles if you have to add oil to ensure that it is in the proper further but I would not recommend it until there is some data telling us how your oil is preforming.

Just got my 1996 2000 turbo running around 275hp and im wanting to change the gearbox oil & Diff oil what grades do in need and how much will i need it the gearbox and rear diff cheers

oil filter, but you really don`t need that unless you`re running this thing at Calabogie with daddies credit card, they`ll tell you that its Royal Purple or nothing, you do not need synthetic oil to pay the extra for high ....

The colder (thicker) oil will build pressure better than the hot oil Diesel Engines I think F350-6 is on the right track.
Of worn o-rings or a sticking IPR.
