Or Amsoil ATF? Which is your recommendation?
Honda ATF Z1 is $11.12 per qt at the local dealer.
Maxlife is $6.69 at the local NAPA
Amsoil ATF is probably around $10.00 to $10.50 per qt. shipped to me, if I order a whole case of it.

The transmission never failed, and I eventually sold it in ....
I never did anything about it, other than change the fluid more frequently.
Came back VERY similar.
To have a 2002 Odyssey and several years ago had the tranny fluid analyzed.

Hello, At 50,050 miles 3.125 qts. of darkened but still "transparent" red transmission fluid drained from my brother's 2007 Odyssey Touring when I removed the plug. The fluid did not smell burned at all; it just smelled used. It had no "peppermint" smell...

They've got a bottom drain plug and top fill plug that are so easy to access, it's almost easier than an engine oil change...

Related concern, you'd want all the old out and new in .

Considering the "old" way Honda did things, it was a 60k drain regimen for my Hondas is this:
Every 50,000 miles I buy a case (12 qts.) of Honda ATF and....
