My default language is English (Australia). This has been set in Contol Panel
and Word options. New documents always open with the default language
correctly set as English...

Graham, I did as you suggested, but unfortunately nothing has changed. Just
to make sure that I was in the right regedit area, I closed regedit then
reopened it to confirm...

I have a laptop I use at college and most searches are being redirected to other unwanted websites.
It has WindowsXP sp3, malwarebytes and Norton Security suite. Malwarebytes is constantly blocking outgoing access.
