Keep in mind, the BC2 beta has kept a lot of 2142 players busy over the last was.
The last few remaining of seeders getting things going.
Be on the tail end of the 2142 lifespan, the server numbers are dwindling.

I like the map. It's actually my favorite vehicle map in 2142 next to Highway Tampa.
I think it's well balanced and it's not "exactly" a cluster lalalala either. I love the flag placement.

I was just wondering you hear a lot about 1942 maps, BF2 maps, but a lot less about the ones from 2142. From what I remember the 2142 maps were a bit featureless at times, but they weren't any better / worse than the BF2 ones were they?

Cloudy ground maps.
The weather was what I loved the most about 2142 maps.
From what I remember the 2142 maps were a bit featureless at times, but they weren't as realistic as possible' bulls****.

Anyone running BF:2142 in Vista? I got my PC setup on dual boot with XP and VIsta. When trying to run BF:2142 on Vista I keep getting kicked by Punkbuster and the only message I get is "Punkbuster." I usually get kicked...

Vista Home Premium and 2142 works perfectly well for me.

I'm a big fan of the Battlefield franchise the vehicles the weapons and the chaos is just insane and recently I've been looking at Battlefield 2142 and it looks just too awesome is there any plans for it to come to Xbox 360 in the future?

DICE generation of consoles SHOULD be able to handle a game like BF2 no problem, and 2142 with a few for consoles,
but design the next real battlefields....
Here is the thing, the Battlefield series is a PC series .
No 2142 will not go to xbox.

DISCLAIMER: I have no dislike of a future theme. All of the reasons I don't like 2142 are from poor design decisions.

I did say 2142 was....
And instead of looking at all the small things, look at the big picture, in which this case 2142 was the biggest most epic there is.
But 2142's benefits far outweight it's shortcomings.

The Subscriber Beta has opened even more slots finally, I am currently downloading the beta but needing to hit the sack early tonight, probably won't be any BF 2142 for tonight so no other major updates...

Sure - just as soon as they complete the patching to get it on Steam :/ I remember the 2142 demo on there but i remember when i said "2142 in development for xbox 360 and ps3" just another one of dices lies.
